The major car leaders/representatives even say that the name autopilot is misleading the topic. “If you’ve got, at scale, a statistically significant amount of data that shows conclusively that the autonomous car has, let’s say, half the accident rate of a human-driven car, I think that’s difficult to ignore,” Musk said. “Because at that point, stopping autonomy means killing people.” Elon Musk is also worried about the people using the autopilot. It is cool but very dangerous deep inside. AI is our creation, and we are not the best at everything. It's doing a good job, but driving, not so much.
But there are a lot of other great things about Tesla, Inc. The Tesla autopilot helps you drive without you actually driving. For example, you have to drive 30 minutes to arrive home after work. The Tesla car itself has cameras on the right, left, front, and a rear view so the AI can use the current video to make good choices for the driver.

Most of you probably think of the founder, but that's wrong. Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning were the founders. They found Elon Musk from trying to hire tech investors, and then Musk worked very hard to make a name for himself. He was an investor and also a chairman. A chairman has the power to create ideas and make a lot of changes. Then he soon moved on to become the CEO of Tesla as we know him to this day. The team’s idea was to give customers a sports car vibe. The founders had a vision that they could use a skateboard as a reference. The idea was that the battery was on the bottom as the base of a skateboard, and the wheels on each corner like the wheels on a skateboard. Tesla wanted different shapes, and sizes for the idea. That's how they came up with Model Y, Model X, Model E, Model S, and they are still working on their brand new sports car, Model R.
Today, Tesla is one of the most influential companies in the world. Its use of AI has changed the auto industry in both positive and challenging ways. While the technology continues to improve, it is clear that Tesla has pushed the boundaries of what cars can do.
